About the Role
If you join us, you will perform various tasks. Among others, you will process payments, perform account reconciliations, divide and accurate previously received installments. You will also actively communicate with banks investigating and resolving discrepancies in account movements. You will become a part of an outstanding team with team members that support each other and help new-joiners assimilate quickly. Team spirit is not just a phrase here.
Key responsibilities:
• You will get your own portfolio of bank accounts, which will allow you to build professional relationships with your business partners
• Your main everyday tasks will be: control all entries on the bank account posted into the system, as well as reconcile bank statement balances with system balances to ensure they equal
• During first months in the team, experienced colleagues will train you to perform additional tasks, such as setup of partner´s banking details into internal master data system, splitting of received incomings from clients, or evaluating compliance risk for outgoing payments
• You will liaise with banks to make sure all payment details are clear and precise. We are positive that you will find exploring the way how banks communicate in their banking environment amazing.
• At the end of every single day, month and quarter we will expect you to check if everything you processed was accurately posted and that all balances are on target
• The best part of our job is helping internal staff and external parties (suppliers, banks) resolve their queries. We make sure that you feel energized by rotating your daily agenda.
About the Team
The Payments & Receipt team consists of 23 members of different ages and nationalities. The scope of our team covers Europe, and South Africa. Another aspect of our work is involvement in both global and team projects and initiatives. This gives everyone a chance to take part in sculpting the future way of doing things, it will inspire you to come up with and develop new ideas and creative solutions. About You
Essentials:
- Graduate of Secondary Economic School or Secondary Grammar school or University degree preferably in the area of finance, banking, accounting, economics
- Able to communicate in English fluently and see no challenge in writing emails or having phone conversations
- Familiar with MS Office (e.g. Excel, Word, Power Point) and have good verbal and written business social skills
Nice to Haves:
- Fluent in any other European language is an advantage for you
- Experience within finance/accounting/payments department
For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between EUR 1300 and EUR 2100 per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:
- the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
- the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialization, skills and experience.
In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.
