Third Party Enablement Manager (Hybrid)

The role is open to applicants with project management experience ideally across Third Party (Risk) Management, Outsourcing, and assurance of a third party and captive service portfolio. With experience of projects that design and implement internal controls gained from first or second line of defence related projects, along with a comfortable understanding of regulatory guidelines, the successful candidate will support the build and maintenance of principles, standards, and assessments including governance and monitoring. This position offers significant coordination and senior level networking opportunities across divisions and functions of the company globally. Project management experience is essential to support the planning, execution and finalization of Third Party risk related initiatives. Activities and responsibilities are diverse.
Main tasks and activities of the role will be to:
• Provide project management to support the Third Party Enablement portfolio in creating and maintaining principles, standards, third party classifications, strengthening compliance and resiliency across the Group's third party portfolio and ensuring prioritization of all our activities
• Support the Third Party Enablement team in managing multiple projects, reporting to project steering boards on the deliverables, backlogs, problem statement framing and root cause reviews and "RAID" logs
• Develop comprehensive project plans that merge third party requirements, company goals and regulatory requirements and coordinate various project phases from initial development through implementation
• Lead programs and project that ensure relevant regulatory requirements, industry trends and forces are understood and create business cases for the change – essentially make recommendations that maintain adherence to our third party oversight standards and practices
• Protect the portfolio, plus oversee projects that drive visibility across all third party services, monitoring, controls, knowledge sharing, provision of information and data that is relevant for group-wide strategic oversight
• Act as point of contact for the projects, be an advisor and connector for partners within the business and deliver accurate information from a centre of excellence. Deliver competitive advantage by enabling faster centralised and standardised third party lifecycle processes
About the Team
We deliver the Third Party Framework which enables third party risk management across the enterprise. We are a multi-location, globally based team recognised for our know-how, experience, consulting and timely delivery. Our dynamic team leads, coordinates, designs and drives activities in support of the overall effective management of Swiss Re's third parties on a global basis.
About You
We are looking for a candidate who has:
• Significant demonstrable experience in setting up and managing projects/programs and leading change including process mapping and continuous improvement techniques. Track record of leading complex global projects
• Experience in establishing and driving working groups and frameworks, developing compelling cases, ideally in a consultative position
• The ability to identify, articulate and manage risks, actions, issues and dependencies (RAID). Experience of doing this related to third parties is a significant advantage. Knowledge of risk appetite setting, particularly in a global enterprise is also a significant advantage
• Experience with business analysis or audits or their preparation, client management, monitoring and reporting
• Dedication, personal drive, cutting through complexity and focusing on outcomes
If you do not have all the above, we would still like to hear from you if you have some plus:
• Financial services, insurance, reinsurance or related industry experience of assurance products or technical knowledge and have led projects across these areas
Your skills include:
• Strong Microsoft office skills, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint and ability to define business requirements for new technologies.
• Relationship building, training, planning and delivery, and enabling the desired behaviors in others (in this case third party risk management behaviour across a global organisation)
• Ability to plan, coordinate, oversee all aspects of a project ensuring goals are met on time, budget and to required quality. Ideally apply credentials like PMI/ PMP, PRINCE, PROSCI, Lean6Sigma, etc
• Effective interaction across all levels of the organisation
• Self-starter with personal motivation to deliver value adding outcomes
• Collaborative, effective and open communication. Strong networking and facilitation skills
• Customer focused, dedicated, efficient and pragmatic problem solving skills in ambiguous or evolving circumstances

For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between EUR 2,900 and EUR 4,800 per month (for a full-time role).

• the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialization, skills and experience.
In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.
