About the Team
We deliver the Third Party Framework which enables third party risk management across the enterprise. We are a multi location, globally based team recognised for our know-how, consulting and timely delivery. Our dynamic team leads, coordinates, designs and drives activities in support of the overall effective management of Swiss Re's third parties on a global basis.
About the Role
The role is open to applicants with experience across Third Party Risk Management, Outsourcing, operational resiliency and assurance of a third party and captive service portfolio. With experience of internal controls gained from first or second line of defence functions, along with a comfortable understanding of regulatory guidelines, the successful candidate will lead the build and maintenance of principles, standards, and assessments including governance and monitoring. This position offers significant coordination and senior level networking opportunities across divisions and functions of the company. Main tasks and activities of the role will be to:
- Establish and develop a new pillar and lead a small team responsible for the framework strengthening compliance and resiliency across the Group's third party portfolio
- Understand and adapt to relevant regulatory requirements, market trends and forces in order to make recommendations that maintain adherence to our third party oversight standards and practices
- Support Head of Third Party Enablement including representing the Group on third party related matters (e.g. internal/external audits, client enquiries, etc)
- Protect the portfolio, plus drive visibility across all third party services, monitoring, controls, knowledge sharing, provision of information and data that is relevant for group-wide strategic oversight
- Act as an advisor and connector for partners within the business and deliver accurate information from a centre of excellence. Deliver competitive advantage by enabling faster centralised and standardised third party lifecycle processes
About You
We are looking for a candidate who has:
- Experience in establishing and driving working groups and frameworks, developing compelling cases, ideally in a leadership position
- The ability to identify, articulate and manage risks associated with third parties. Knowledge risk appetite setting, particularly in a global enterprise is a significant advantage
- Practical experience of project management, process mapping and continuous improvement
- Experience with audits (external and/or internal) or their preparation, client management, monitoring and reporting
- Dedication, personal drive, cutting through complexity and focussing on outcomes
It would also be nice for you to have:
- Financial services, insurance, reinsurance experience including product or technical knowledge
Your skills include:
- Strong Microsoft office skills, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint and ability to define business requirements for new technologies
- Team building, mentoring and Encouraging desired behaviors in others
- Effective interaction across all levels of the organisation
- Self-starter with personal motivation to deliver value adding outcomes
- Collaborative leadership style, effective and open communication. Strong networking and facilitation skills
- Customer focussed, dedicated, efficient and pragmatic problem solving skills in ambiguous or evolving circumstances

The minimum gross monthly base salary for this role is 2600 EUR full time. Our final offer to you will be set up fairly, considering the skills and experience that you bring to the Swiss Re Group. You can look forward to extra rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.
