Third Party Risk Management Analyst (Hybrid)

About the Team:
 
We are a multi-location, global team recognized for our know-how, consulting/expertise and timely delivery. Our dynamic team leads, coordinates, designs and drives activities in support of the overall effective management of Swiss Re's third parties on a global basis. Your role would be part of the team based in Bratislava and develop third party related processes and reporting ensuring compliance to all TPRM and Outsourcing related regulations for the benefit of Swiss Re Legal Entities to fulfil their governance and oversight responsibilities as outlined by the Targeted Policy on Managing Third Parties and Targeted Standard on Outsourcing.

In the role of Third Party Enablement Analyst you will get an exciting opportunity to join a diverse and motivated team, committed to delivering value, enabling effective third party risk management and governance, and execution of third party and outsourcing related strategies to our clients and partners across Swiss Re Group globally.
 
Responsibilities:
 

•    Assists in maintaining principles, strategy, standards, third party classifications/ segmentation and enabling strategic third party risk appetite design and execution
•    Ensuring compliance to all TPRM and Outsourcing relevant regulations
•    Assists in providing ad-hoc support and impact assessments of new draft regulations arising, ensuring regulatory risk and compliance
•    Assists in providing project support, gap analysis, project scoping for addition of new regulations to the Third Party Framework
•    Assists in the approach for oversight and monitoring of the Third Party Framework and for the third party portfolio across the entire Group
•    Ensure team acumen in organisational, regulatory, strategic, financial and operational changes including broader internal and external factors/trends impacting the TPRM program 
•    Assists in managing risk inventory for third party portfolio completeness, third party incident management, exit planning and contractual resilience
•    Acts as a point of contact between Third Party Enablement, Coordinated Assurance Functions, and other Subject Matter Experts/relevant teams across all lines of defence to deliver information through a centralized approach
•    Assists in ensuring the processes by which new external and internal third parties services are identified, evaluated, executed, monitored and reported over their life cycle according to Group policy and regulatory directives
•    Assists in helping to design and set the overall Group Framework for managing third parties, including project and ad-hoc support of new or updated requirements into global TP oversight requirements 
•    Oversight and monitoring of third party information, including completeness and flagging of missing information – ensuring accuracy 
•    Assists in responding to ad hoc requests for reporting that might be needed to respond to Regulatory, GIA, Client or business/function requests
•    Acts as the subject matter expert and an advisor for partners within the business and responds to related questions
•    Manages the document and information flow needed to support the activities
•    Maintain records in compliance with Swiss Re's internal guidelines and regulatory directives.
•    Supporting a proactive risk and control culture and continuous improvement

 
About you:
 
•    5 or more years of business experience, leadership, third party risk/compliance, technology (third party oversight, onboarding, audit & controls) 
•    Experience in third party regulation, related roles in financial services industry and able to demonstrate delivery of third party risk management, third party lifecycle, internal control systems, control self-assessments and management of inherent and residual third party risk
•    Project management methodologies (leading multi-location projects/change management)
•    Experience with legal and compliance requirements including working knowledge of Solvency II, EIOPA Cloud OS, FINMA, DORA, EBA, PRA, APRA, MAS, OSFI and other third party regulations essential
•    Experience with audits (external and/or internal) and their preparation
•    Client management, monitoring, negotiation and reporting
•    Track record of delivering results working in global teams, empowering and developing new leaders in a diverse workforce
•    Demonstrated ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously delivering high quality results in terms of process, content and timeliness
•    Effective training, persuasion and motivation of others in one to one or group settings and to varying Bands
•    Analytical skills to support assessment of risk and appropriate course of action
•    Demonstration of TPRM thought leadership and staying ahead of TPRM regulations, best practices and other emerging drivers/forces/risks that impact TPRM
•    Proven to operate and deliver in a fast-paced environment on high profile topics
•    Technical knowledge of insurance/reinsurance preferred e.g. products, business lines and value chain
•    Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, PowerApps / MS Suite
•    Ability to inspire, work with and implement new TPRM practices
•    Proven ability to influence people and teams including outside of direct line management control and comfortable working in a matrixed environment
•    Ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization 
•    Self-starter, proactive and with personal drive to succeed and achieve results for the team
•    Strong analytical and problem solving skills, proven customer orientation
•    Excellent command of the English language, any other additional languages are welcomed

 

For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between EUR 1,900 and EUR 2,800 per month (for a full-time role). 
The specific salary offered considers:
•    the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,

•    the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialization, skills and experience.

In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.
