Transfer Pricing Analyst Assistant- part time position suitable for the student

 

About the Role

 

You will be responsible for supporting the Transfer Pricing team in preparing the global and local transfer pricing documentation, along with reviewing related party transactions and assisting in handling transfer pricing audits. You will report into the Transfer Pricing Manager in Bratislava and collaborate closely with the transfer pricing teams based in Bratislava and Zurich as well as with the Group's local tax teams which are based in multiple jurisdictions.

 

Main responsibilities:

 

  • Gather and review information on intra-group transaction to produce transfer pricing reports for regional tax teams based in offices around the world.
  • Contribute to the Group's transfer pricing compliance and maintain records to meet various compliance and audit requests
  • Perform analytical review of transactions and communicate findings in a clear and structured manner
  • Liaise with internal finance departments as well as external advisors
  • Providing ad hoc transfer pricing analysis and contributing to group projects and strategic initiatives where needed
  • Support the local tax teams in tax audits

 

About the Team 

 

The Transfer Pricing team is based in Zürich and Bratislava and has a mandate to provide efficient and effective transfer pricing documentation, as well as to actively manage audit defense for transfer pricing related topics.

The Transfer Pricing team consists of 3 colleagues, located in Bratislava and 2 colleagues located in Zurich. We are all part of Group Finance.

 

About You

 

•    University student, preferably in a finance related field

•    Fluency in written and spoken English

•    Excellent MS Excel, and other Microsoft Office suite programs

•    Ability to achieve precision alongside balancing multiple topics under time pressure 

•    Excellent communication skills and team player

•    Ability to convey complicated information in a structured way

 

The minimum gross salary for this role is 7 EUR /hour. Our final offer to you will be set up fairly, considering the skills and experience that you bring to the Swiss Re Group. You can look forward to extra rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.
