Our Design Team is organized around products – and you will be too. Instead of time-boxed projects, we are responsible for experience design of a landscape of products at various stages of their lifecycle.
Our product portfolio consists of approximately 150+ web and mobile apps supporting all reinsurance business functions such as Sales, Underwriting and Claims Management.
Our guiding principles are collaboration, pragmatism and agility. With this, we seek to accomplish good acceptance and adoption, efficiency gains, and last but not the least – happy users!
We are looking for an UX/UI Designer with a proven track record, responsible for driving the end-to-end design process, from Discovery to Delivery. Given our industry, we need a creative mind not afraid to tackle more technical or analytical solutions – like insurance!
Our business is reinsurance, and our aim is to make the reinsurance product experience intuitive and user-friendly, leveraging best-in-class UX patterns and approaches. Together, we will attract and retain customers around the Globe and support them to address some of the World’s most urgent challenges such as climate change or closing the protection gap.
About the role
- Work in a multidisciplinary team with Product Owners, fellow Business Experts, Designers and Engineers to ensure we develop solutions that are desirable (human-centric), (technically) feasible and viable (business-wise)
- Own the user experience for a couple of digital products, where you'll not only guide and implement continuous improvement but also actively contribute to the product strategy and feature definition
- Employ storytelling to convey design concepts and user journeys, enhancing team and stakeholder engagement
- Set up and conduct user testing and synthesize and leverage insights to iteratively improve product experience
- Define personas and user journeys based on primary and secondary research
- Hold workshops to synthesize insights or brainstorm ideas
- Consult with business partners to define product offerings and features based on user needs
- Use our established Design System and apply it to how you craft your solutions
- Craft intuitive and accessible user interfaces by developing wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for a seamless implementation of the user experience
- Support the set-up of analytics tools and synthesize user behavior insights to improve the user experience
- Consider and implement WCAG 2.1, AA accessibility web standards
About you
- 3+ years of professional experience in design field (Bonus if you have experience crafting sophisticated B2B or B2C solutions)
- Proficient in spoken and written English (Level B2 or above)
- Familiar and have applied Design Thinking methodologies
- Skilled in Figma or another classic design tool
- Strive to validate your ideas through usability testing and analytics and iterate accordingly
- Have excellent communication and storytelling skills and can explain your process in a convincing manner
For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between [EUR 2,100] and [EUR 3,400] per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:
- the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
- the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.
