Underwriting & Claims Analyst (hybrid)
We are looking for an open-minded and motivated Reporting & Tool Analyst interested in taking on a new challenge in the operational and steering area within the L&H Underwriting & Claims community. Your responsibilities would include:
About the Role
- Develop proficiency in tools and processes used in Life & Health Underwriting and Claims
- Represent our Market Unit in global system development projects and topic forums. Participate in tool testing, collaborating with underwriters, claims assessors, IT, and other business functions
- Manage tools access and support internal and external clients with user-related requests
- Drive regular recertification processes for internal and external tools
- Own reporting for the Underwriting & Claims team (e.g., creation of ad-hoc reports in Power BI, Stargate)
- Maintain and enhance communication platforms such as SharePoint
- Suggest and implement process improvements; participate in projects and show ownership of initiatives that improve the status quo
- Perform ad-hoc tasks to support smooth operations
You will work closely with various Underwriting and Claims teams supporting CE markets and will be based in Bratislava. Depending on your skills and abilities, this position offers opportunities for growth and additional project work.
About the Team
We are a team of underwriters, claims assessors, and analysts supporting the Continental Europe region on the business side, including case assessments and various ad-hoc client needs. We collaborate closely with regional and cross-functional partners.
About You
You are detail-oriented and able to prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic environment. Experience working in an international or multicultural setting is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in economics, Finance, Business, or similar
- Excellent command of English
- Experience in creating ad-hoc reports in Power BI and/or Stargate, is advantage
- Strong Excel and MS Office skills
- Genuine interest in IT systems and processes
- Enjoys developing solutions proactively
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Positive attitude toward issue resolution
- Innovative with a “can-do” approach
- Team player
This is 2 years temporary maternity cover contract.
For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between 2 100 EUR and 3 500 EURper month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:
- the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
- the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.
