iptiQ EMEA is part of Swiss Re's Life Capital division which runs all our life & health primary insurance portfolios across Europe. iptiQ is a start-up, established to deliver innovative protection solutions sold to consumers through Distribution Partners. Our Team delivers the coordination, infrastructure and capabilities key to driving forward this new business, while working closely with the rest of the Swiss Re.


We are a dynamic, entrepreneurial business unit who thrive on change and are passionate about high quality delivery to our customers and distribution partners.

Our established Operations Team with its members based in Bratislava and Munich supports Business Operations Teams across Europe. iptiQ is a Luxemburg based insurer with branches in UK, Ireland, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, France. The role of our Team is to support the delivery of iptiQ´s growth for these locations and other countries across Europe.

We are looking for visionary and creative self-starters to undertake these key support roles for one of Swiss Re's strategic initiatives.


About the Role

The role will have a number of responsibilities, focusing on key areas:

  • Supporting live deals from a Service Delivery perspective ensuring services provided efficiently and provide a quality customer experience in conjunction with the Business Operations Team.
  • Supporting the delivery of all customer literature and correspondence for new and existing deals across all jurisdictions including where required translation into local language.
  • Involvement in other ad hoc iptiQ Business Operations Team projects and activities as required.


Main Tasks

The main tasks include:

Service Delivery

  • Representing Business Operations in the On-Boarding process of various new partners.
  • Ensure efficient Distribution Partner Account Management.
  • Manage portal and business as usual changes in collaboration with other departments.
  • Provide administrative support for the business as usual activities of our Third Party Administrators (TPA) including assisting the managing and tracking of day to day queries and issues relating to business as usual activities.
  • Monitor SLAs and service excellence to achieve customer satisfaction and best experience. 
  • Assist in the operational oversight over outsourcing partners and IT vendors.
  • Support in the gathering and creation of reports for various partners.
  • Provide operational input to ensure adherence to the Target Operating Model and achievement of operational efficiency.
  • Suggest improvements in Sales and Customer servicing and in processes.
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks as required.

Product Literature

  • Iniciate literature changes and liase with Literature Manager.
  • Manage standard customer correspondence.
  • Manage internal stakeholders and workstreams to meet agreed targets.


About you

  • English is iptiQ's business language and therefore essential. The command of German is a must for this role. Any additional European language is a plus.
  • You are organised and logical in management of tasks and workload.
  • You have strong social and interpersonal skills; able to demonstrate a clear and articulate standard of written and verbal communication.
  • You are Customer Service driven with a real passion for high quality customer care.
  • You are happy working independently and collaborate strongly and actively with others as required especially in a virtual environment.
  • You have the ability to multi task in a dynamic work environment.
  • You are committed to accuracy, attention to detail and quality.
  • You are happy to work in an area that is fluid and developing.
  • You understand and live iptiQ culture and values – can do and proactive attitudes.
  • You are proficient in MS Office, particularly Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel is important.
  • Experience in process improvements would be an advantage.
  • Experience in Life insurance administration and operations would be an advantage.

Minimum base salary for this job from 1500 EUR gross/month/full time. Our offer to you may be higher based on your skills and experience and will include additional rewards and benefits. We are required by law to disclose basic wage component (minimum salary) for the advertised positions.
