About the Role

Swiss Re will adopt IFRS in 2024 and you have an exciting and outstanding opportunity to join the IFRS project!


We are looking for a highly motivated IFRS Manager. Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Support the IFRS implementation
  • Review insurance contract wording and perform preliminary IFRS assessment
  • Contribute to impact assessment of the adoption of IFRS to the Corporate Solutions business
  • Support assessment of IT solution and identify any gaps and necessary source system changes
  • Be involved in user acceptance tests and dry runs
  • Collaboration with Subject Matter Experts in Finance, Risk Management, Underwriting and other functions


About You

  • First experience in an Accounting/Finance function and relevant project management experience
  • Good coordination and planning skills
  • Understanding of IFRS, US GAAP and/or local statutory principles
  • You handle Microsoft Office and SharePoint with ease and feel comfortable to build high quality presentations to senior management
  • Knowledge of insurance and reinsurance products a plus
  • You are proficient in English – verbal and written communication



Minimum base salary for this job from 1500  EUR gross/month/full time. Our offer to you may be higher based on your skills and experience and will include additional rewards and benefits. *
