Are you a highly motivated individual at the beginning of a professional career, with 3 to 5 years of working experience in financial accounting, audit or controlling & reporting within the financial service industry (preferably insurance industry)?

If so, the following main tasks are waiting for you:

•    Support impact analysis for accounting standard updates and help to execute implementation
•    Contribute to assess accounting of complex transactions such as mergers & acquisitions
•    Participate in and support projects impacting Finance Corporate Solutions, providing expertise in areas that impact US GAAP and in the future IFRS
•    Support the monthly and quarterly reporting processes
•    Preparation of various presentations
•    Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
•    Over time willing to learn and support the economic value management (EVM) reporting process

 

About the Team


We are responsible for consolidating the Business Unit Corporate Solutions financial results, preparing commentaries for quarterly US GAAP and EVM reporting and driving operational excellence in finance controlling and reporting activities.

We fulfil a dynamic role including segment and group financial reporting, partnering with the business and supporting various governance and decision taking bodies within Corporate Solutions. We have daily contact and collaboration with various other finance functions (i.e. financial planning & analysis, group external reporting, capital & liquidity management, legal entity teams, claims) as well as other areas of the business, such as Underwriting and Actuarial


About You


•    University graduate with a primary or higher degree (or equivalent), preferably in accounting/finance/ economics with 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience in financial accounting, audit or controlling & reporting within the financial service industry (preferably insurance industry)
•    Professional accounting qualification or in the process to achieve qualification
•    Excellent communication skills, ability to interact with business partners from various backgrounds and experiences. Flexibility to interact in both a team environment as well as independently
•    Strong ability to analyse and interpret financial data
•    Excellent analytical skills with holistic financial thinking and able to deliver high quality output to short deadlines
•    Able to perform tasks with a high degree of autonomy, while partnering closely with all relevant stakeholders
•    Strong MS Office (especially Excel) skills required
•    Excellent command of English (spoken and written)
•    Stress resilient, with the ability to work independent

 

Minimum base salary for this job from 1500EUR gross/month/full time. Our offer to you may be higher based on your skills and experience and will include additional rewards and benefits.*
