Claims and Underwriting Administrative Intern (12 month Internship)

About the Role


In this role you will support the Life & Health Claims and Underwriting teams where you will help our experts by performing the following:

 

  • Accurate data capturing and case induction

  • Liaising with clients and various role-players to ensure process is followed and provide excellent client service

  • Underwriting and claims case allocation, tracking and reporting

  • Maintain set-standards and targets

  • Life Guide and Claims Guide role allocation and password management

  • SharePoint updates and UCR administration duties

  • Assisting with the preparation of presentations, client resource material, hand-outs.

  • Seminar and event coordination

  • Ad-hoc duties as assigned


About You

 

We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive individual who is comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong sense of accountability, energy, and a positive attitude. You should be adaptable, able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, and possess excellent attention to detail. Flexibility and the ability to think independently will help you succeed in this role.

 

 We would like you to have:

 

  • Minimum Bachelors degree, Diploma or Higher certificate in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field

  • Prior work experience
