Delegated Authority Operations Specialist (Hybrid; m/f/x/d; 80-100%)

Are you an experienced Operations professional ready to take on a key role in optimizing and expanding our delegated authority and portfolio book of business? The EMEA Operations team at Swiss Re Corporate Solutions (Corso) is looking for a Delegated Authority Operations Specialist to enhance efficiency and drive the growth in this space.

The ideal candidate will have in-depth expertise in managing delegated authority agreements and portfolio deals (such as MGAs and Facilities), service delivery, and risk management. This role will support scalable business growth, improve operational efficiency, and foster strong relationships with external partners and internal key stakeholders.

About the Role:

As Delegated Authority Operations Specialist, your responsibilities will be focused around spearheading due diligence and onboarding new delegated authority and portfolio deals while ensuring the smooth and efficient integration and oversight of existing deals, ensuring alignment with company framework and regulatory standards. 

In addition, your key responsibilities will include:

• Identifying challenges within MGA and Facility programs, develop innovative solutions that balance client needs with internal requirements, and drive continuous improvement.

• Leading annual audits at client offices, working closely with underwriting, claims, and other departments, ensuring comprehensive compliance and operational oversight.

• Collaborate with senior management at our external partners , to align compliance and internal profitability goals with the needs and expectations of our external partners. 

Occasional travel within the UK and Europe might be required for the role.

Within this team, we are adding a new role to support our growing MGA & portfolio business. You will be working closely with another colleague based in Folkestone UK and with other Operations Functions such as Business Services, Credit Control and Claims Operations in Bratislava and other EMEA locations. 

About You:

We are looking for a new colleague with the following qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent

• Proven experience in operational handling of delegated authority business and good knowledge of the UK and EMEA insurance market

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on service delivery

• A track record working in cross-functional teams to deliver continuous improvement

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
