Data Management & Insights - Transformation Lead

 

About the Team:

 

The Data Management & Insights (DMI) team is dedicated to making client data accessible to stakeholders by systematically acquiring and ingesting it. The team also leverages advanced analytics techniques to generate valuable insights for L&H Reinsurance.

 

 

About the Role:

 

In this position, you'll operate in a high-performance setting, manage various topics, assist the Head of DMI with key services, and implement the target operating model, including retro and CDM TOM (Client Data Management – Target Operating Model) from both operational and strategic angles. This is a solo contributor role reporting directly to the Head of DMI.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Strategic Initiatives and Communications: Assist the Head of DMI in executing strategic initiatives and communications. Report progress on strategic projects and initiatives to all internal stakeholders. Coordinate and support internal and external communications, develop storylines, and prepare content.
  • Operational Activities and Global Operating Model: Design and build the global DMI Network and support implementation of the new operating model, including OKR mgmt., KPI reporting, monitoring processes, annual planning process, prioritization process, etc. Work with the DMI leadership team to build the internal DMI brand and communications. Monitor operational risks by ensuring proper oversight of governance and risk control activities across the unit.
  • Culture & Personal Development: Develop and drive the execution of community engagement, culture transformation, and continuous learning to build future-ready capabilities.

 

 

About You:

 

A proactive individual who thrives on handling several tasks simultaneously with utmost integrity, capable of managing both sensitive and critical information.

 

Essentials:

 

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in related field of leading medium to large transformations and operations.
  • Exceptional abilities in organization, prioritization, and planning.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with the aptitude for making well-informed decisions through a mix of analysis, practical experience, problem-solving, and sound judgement.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills suitable for networking, crafting stories, presenting, training, and working collaboratively.
  • Skilled in using Microsoft 365, including MS Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

 

Nice to haves:

 

  • Experience with large datasets, re/insurance industry, and strong knowledge of Life & Health business.
