Sales and Business Development - Magnum Solutions - HybridSenior Solutions Product Specialist

The role involves:

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and contact potential clients in the life insurance sector, including Insurtech's, agencies, brokers, and carriers.
  • Sales Presentations: Conduct software demos and presentations for prospects and existing clients; guide the marketing team and support initiatives.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, including IT leaders, insurance executives, and operations managers.
  • Needs Assessment: Understand client requirements and tailor solutions to meet their business goals focused on efficiency, compliance, and client management.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute a sales plan to achieve targets and expand our customer base; make recommendations to grow our solutions footprint.
  • Contract Negotiation: Work closely with clients to negotiate contract terms, pricing, and implementation timelines.
  • Product Development Guidance: Coordinate with product development and technical support to ensure client needs are met.
  • Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends and developments to identify new opportunities and challenges; participate in industry conferences and events.
  • Customer Success & Retention: Support the onboarding process and work with the Customer Success team to ensure satisfaction post-sale, fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Sales Reporting: Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline progress, and revenue forecasts.

About the Team

You will join the Magnum North American team within the Swiss Re L&H Reinsurance Solutions unit. Your focus will be on sales and business development for Magnum with clients across North America. Magnum is central to our risk management strategy, optimizing operational processes and providing foundations for growth. This is an exciting time with significant new client activity and innovation in our UW solutions.

 

About You

  • Proven experience in software sales within the life insurance or broader insurance industry
  • Established network of contacts within the life insurance industry
  • Strong understanding of the life insurance market, including compliance, regulatory requirements, and business processes
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in CRM software and sales tracking tools
  • Willingness to travel to meet with clients and attend industry events as needed
  • College degree
