Operational Excellence Enablement Lead
About the role:
Together with the Head Operational Excellence, the Operational Excellence Enablement Lead will play a key role in driving and sustaining a culture of operational excellence within L&H Re. This role will lead the enablement of Market Units, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary processes, understanding and capabilities to achieve operational excellence. Essential to this support will be a good understanding of L&H Re processes and operating model.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leaders and Market Unit managers, to ensure buy-in and support for operational excellence initiatives.
- Lead close collaboration with Market Units to drive operational excellence initiatives, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.
- Facilitate the sharing of best practices and lessons learned across the organization to drive innovation and operational improvements.
- Develop and implement training programs and workshops to enhance the Operational Excellence capabilities of the Market Units.
- Identify, evaluate, and implement process improvement opportunities across Market Units to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and ensure continuous improvement.
- Lead change management efforts to ensure smooth implementation of new processes and practices within Market Units.
- Ensure all operational processes adhere to company standards, industry regulations, and compliance requirements.
About the team:
This team will be pivotal in the design, actions and building of sustainable and systematic capability of continuous operational improvements for L&H Re. It will be part of the L&H Business Excellence team, with a scope to cover all of BU L&H Re. The teams mandate consisting of two key pillars:
- Provide E2E Operational Excellence Enablement across L&H Re, with a focus on continuous process improvement support for the seven Market Unit around the globe
- Drive E2E Operational Excellence Controllership across L&H Re, with a focus on process adherence, the related operational metrics as well as the systematic oversight of agreed improvement actions
About you:
- Substantial experience in operational excellence, process improvement, or a related role, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong L&H Re Process KnowledgeProficiency in process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or similar.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in data analysis and performance measurement tools.
- Ability to think strategically and develop long-term plans for operational excellence.
- Adaptability to navigate and lead through change effectively.
- Focus on achieving high-quality results and meeting deadlines.
- Encourage and implement innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
