(Senior) International Programs Account Manager (Hybrid, 80-100%, m/f/x)

About the Role
 

The EMEA International Programs Account Manager will be responsible for coordinating and driving complex International Programs from submission to service delivery working in cooperation with all relevant internal stakeholders. This end to end responsibility ensures we are in line with local regulations, laws, market practices and introduce fully compliant, achievable solutions to our customers in line with their expectations. This includes meeting of service levels & performance indicators. 
 
The role will include supporting and advising portfolio teams for the more complex business we handle and proactively engages with the deal team and other experts. The role also liaises with Global Network Management & Network Partner Services Hub to address specific requirements of complex customers and works closely with the International Financial Management team.

 

You will also work closely with Sales, Underwriting, Operations, RES, Claims and Captive Services to help build and support our target opportunity pipeline, qualify new business leads and coordinate efforts on deal quoting, binding, and execution. Ultimately, this role will ensure Swiss Re Corporate Solutions delivers on the commitments we make across the international program service life cycle to ensure excellence in execution both pre and post bind.

About You
 

Are you an international business expert with a solid understanding of large global insurance business? We are looking for the following in an ideal candidate.

 

We are open to level of seniority which will be determined during the recruitment process. 


•    Minimum 2-5 years of origination and structuring of single carrier, coinsurance panel, and captive international programs for companies based in EMEA, ideally including underwriting experience
•    Detailed knowledge of international program considerations including regulatory compliance, tax and cash management expertise
•    Broad industry network with brokers and corporate risk managers
•    Ability to build and manage a project plan for each complex renewal and inception
•    Strong understanding of captive servicing
•    Ability to engage with and guide virtual client teams responsible for service commitments
 
Other skills/attributes:
•    Excellent interpersonal skills - articulate, credible, and able to build rapport
•    Strong project management experience - ability to plan, organize, and execute
•    Leadership and organizational skills - ability to manage complex transactions and cross functional resources in an effective, timely manner
•    Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills in Dutch, minimum English and any other major European language is a bonus
•    Excels in a fast-paced environment, exhibiting a high level of drive and positivity
•    Willing to travel across EMEA on a regular basis (20 %)

For The Netherlands, the base salary range for the International Programs Account Manager level is between EUR 76,000 and EUR 114,000 and for the Senior International Programs Account Manager level is between EUR 108,000 and EUR 162,000 (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:

 

• the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
• the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.

 

In the situation where you do not meet all the requirements or you significantly exceed these, the offered salary may be below or above the advertised range.

 

In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.
