About the Role
In this exciting role, you'll be at the forefront of front-end development, translating complex business requirements into elegant, user-friendly solutions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create scalable applications that meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable, high-quality front-end applications using modern web technologies

Translate product requirements and UX designs into robust, maintainable implementations

Collaborate with product owners, designers, backend developers, and architects to deliver exceptional solutions

Build and maintain reusable UI components and front-end libraries aligned with design standards
-
Contribute to the evolution of frontend architecture, ensuring systems remain performant and scalable

Support integration of front-end components with APIs and backend services
-
Troubleshoot and resolve UI defects across development, testing, and production environments

Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement of engineering practices

Engage in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives

Document technical designs, implementation decisions, and support handover when required
About the Team
Our team is the global L&H Reinsurance Engineering team, responsible for the technical Architecture and Engineering of IT solutions for the Reinsurance business unit. We are passionate about technology and building enterprise-grade products with a deep understanding of the reinsurance business. We closely collaborate with teams and colleagues around the globe to share knowledge and engineering solutions.

About You
We're looking for a collaborative problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about creating exceptional user experiences. You have strong technical expertise combined with excellent communication skills and a commitment to continuous learning.
We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field

10+ years of experience in frontend engineering with strong expertise in React/Angular JS and modern JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystems

Strong understanding of core frontend concepts including rendering strategies, state management, performance optimization, and component architecture

Experience with API integration patterns and handling of asynchronous data, failures, and edge cases

Proficiency with Git and modern development workflows
