About You
You are a seasoned product leader with a genuine curiosity for technology and a strong grounding in insurance or reinsurance. You bring structure to complexity, clarity to ambiguity, and energy to collaboration. You are equally comfortable presenting a product vision to senior leadership as you are rolling up your sleeves in a backlog grooming session with your Scrum team. You lead with empathy, communicate with purpose, and are always focused on delivering outcomes that matter.
We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:
-
8+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in a comparable role, with a proven track record in product lifecycle management, stakeholder engagement, and delivering customer-focused solutions
-
5+ years of experience in property and claims management systems or related domains, with solid knowledge of P&C insurance or reinsurance business processes
-
Hands-on expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), including defining and prioritizing product backlogs, writing user stories, and managing sprint delivery aligned to business goals
-
Strong technical acumen, with demonstrated experience delivering IT projects including cloud-based solutions, and familiarity with modern tools and platforms
-
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate product vision, roadmap, and requirements to both technical and non-technical audiences at all organizational levels
These are additional nice to haves:
-
Familiarity with the Natural Catastrophe (NatCat) perils domain, including an understanding of natural disaster risks and their impact on insurance processes
-
Experience leading cross-functional teams across diverse cultures, geographies, and organizational levels, fostering a spirit of collaboration and shared ownership
-
Analytical and structured problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex challenges while incorporating creative input from a wide range of stakeholders
-
An outcome-driven mindset, with a consistent focus on delivering high-quality products on time while balancing customer and business needs
-
A genuine commitment to continuous learning, staying current with industry trends and proactively seeking opportunities for personal and professional growth
