DevSecOps Engineer

About the Role:

  • As part of central DevSecOps team, design, assess and implement solutions to address our infrastructure and security requirements.
  • Design and implement various customization for CI/CD platforms (Azure DevOps / GitHub Enterprise) w.r.t Build agent pools management
  • Own and drive the activities end-to-end and navigate through ambiguities.
  • Improve team productivity by automating different tasks via CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps / GitHub Enterprise) or scripts.
  • Contribute to the overall team strategy for risk mitigation in our DevSecOps infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot, identify, and fix problems in our centralized DevSecOps platform.
  • Build strong working relationships with cross-department teams.
  • Provide consulting on CI/ CD platforms (Azure DevOps / GitHub Enterprise).

About you:

  • 8+ years of total IT experience. Preferably Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator or DevOps Engineer.
  • You like to own a topic and drive it end to end and are willing to collaborate with international teams.
  • Strong expertise with CI/CD solutions (Azure DevOps, Bamboo, Jenkins, GitHub Enterprise), version control (Git), artefact management (Artifactory), code quality (Sonar), artefact security (Nexus IQ, Aqua) and strong scripting capability (Bash, Python, PowerShell)
  • Solid experience with setting up and managing multiple CI/CD platforms like Jenkins, Bamboo, TFS, Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise, etc.
  • Hands on development skills in any language / scripting tool (+ IaC, Docker / Containers)
  • Change embracing and forward thinking with strong "customer first" attitude with an emphasis on responsibility and ownership of customer requests
  • Solid experience with covering E2E aspects for various monitoring use cases for any infrastructure platform
  • Excellent communication including documentation skills (English) and great collaboration skills and solid experience with working with international / multi-cultural team members
  • Practical experience on using CI/CD platforms to deploy the cloud native applications on the cloud
  • Analytical, conceptual, and problem resolution capabilities
  • Practical experience on new IT landscape (Containers, Infrastructure as Code, Automated Deployments, Microservices, Public Cloud, Security and Monitoring)
  • Provides / generates ideas and carry out Proof of Concepts (PoC), to shorten the feedback loops
  • Experience in container orchestration with Kubernetes in public cloud
  • Ability to manage / solve Major incidents effectively with great customer communication
  • Solid experience with Networking concepts, setup
