About the Role

As our DevSecOps Engineer, you'll be the guardian of our Azure cloud infrastructure, championing security-first automation and reliability. You'll have the exciting opportunity to not only perfect traditional DevOps practices but also pioneer AI-enhanced approaches that will transform how we build and maintain our technology platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and architect Azure-based application infrastructure, including AKS, Storage Accounts, PostgreSQL, App Services, and Key Vault

  • Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform/Bicep/ARM templates for consistent, version-controlled deployments

  • Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps to enable seamless application delivery

  • Maintain and enhance Helm charts and Kubernetes deployments for containerized applications

  • Ensure platform security through compliance monitoring, vulnerability management, and security control implementation

  • Lead incident response efforts, performing thorough root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, QA, and architecture teams to enable secure, efficient deployments

  • Drive cost optimization while maintaining performance and scalability of cloud infrastructure

  • Explore and implement AI-driven DevSecOps capabilities for anomaly detection, intelligent alerting, and automated remediation

  • Champion adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices within DevOps workflows

About the Team

You will be joining the Geospatial Solutions team that delivers Map services and Lookup services serving the business with detailed facts and spatial context for decision making. We are the backend for interactive visual mapping tools that make spatial information and analytics easily accessible for users to make efficient and informed decisions.

About You

You're a problem-solver at heart with a passion for automation and security. Your strong ownership mindset means you take pride in building reliable systems and continuously improving them.

We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:

  • Proven hands-on experience with Azure cloud platform and services (AKS, networking, storage, databases, security)

  • Solid expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration

  • Proficiency with CI/CD tools, particularly Azure DevOps

  • Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (preferably Terraform)

  • Strong understanding of DevSecOps practices, security controls, and compliance

  • Experience with incident management, monitoring, and observability tools

  • Proficient scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages

These are additional nice to haves:

  • Experience integrating AI/ML capabilities into DevOps workflows

  • Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices

  • Knowledge of cloud security frameworks and governance models

  • Azure certifications (AZ-400, AZ-104, etc.)

  • Experience mentoring and guiding junior team members

  • Exposure to multi-cloud environments

Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office at least three days per week
