We are looking for hard-working and passionate people to be part of our Enterprise Architecture team. We work with a wide array of engineers, Tech Area Leads, architects and governance functions to define and govern the future enterprise cloud architecture along the entire value chain of the re-/insurance business.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

We collaborate with the architects across Swiss Re to make recommendations and manage technology and architecture. We define standards and guidelines for technology in our cloud environments for the organization following Enterprise Architecture processes. We join forces with the project teams to ensure compliance with Group technology standards, EA requirements and guidelines.

You will develop, support, implement the use cases for our Enterprise Architecture Tools and related analytical data insights. You will work with teams in the business units and central functions to ensure they can effectively manage their technology, technical debt, application landscape and compliance with Group standards, EA requirements and guidelines.

Finally, you support us to identify and continuously improve architecture processes, tools, and governance in all domains of IT, business, applications, data, platforms, and technology.

 

Job Requirements

 

  • Have experience in using Enterprise Architecture Solutions and Tools (e.g. ARIS/Alfabet, LeanIX or Ardoq). Experience of configuring and operating such solutions is plus.
  • Proven track record of understanding and transforming customer requirements into a best-fit design and architecture.
  • Demonstrated experience in data management, data modelling, and data engineering.
  • Experience in (enterprise) architecture or data governance is a plus, e.g. as part of an Enterprise Architecture team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Feel comfortable working in a fast-paced surrounding, can get things done and deal positively with ambiguity.
  • Proficient in languages such as Python or SQL is a plus.
  • Knowledge of architecture frameworks is a plus, e.g., TOGAF, Zachman etc.
  • Highly proficient in working in English.

Education

 

  • Possess a Bachelor's relevant degree (e.g., Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science) or demonstrate equivalent experience.
