IT Expert Service Analyst

Reinsurance Solutions is one of the three pillars within Swiss Re Reinsurance. The pillar aims to add value to clients’ original business by providing solutions and services across the value chain. Service Delivery Management team is responsible for designing and managing processes for successful delivery and efficient operations of software products and services to customers. Effective Service Delivery Mgmt. enables companies to streamline their processes, optimize resource utilization and improve customer experiences.

About the role:

To maintain ground-breaking propositions for our product services and support the next wave of innovation in service management strategy, we are looking for an expert in Service delivery to design and implement functional and cost-effective services around our products.

IT Expert Service analyst responsibilities include designing, implementing new processes for prioritized requirement and managing efficient operations. In this role, you should be highly analytical and passionate for problem-solving. If you have hands-on experience in building operating models for services in a product company, we'd like to meet you.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Communicate with stakeholders to understand their requirements.
  • Design efficient process, IT systems to meet business and technology needs.
  • Analyse and create functional specifications, coordinate with developers to build and implement tech solutions.
  • Design integrations and implement solutions in compliance organisational governance.
  • Gather feedback from end users and ensure professional service communication to clients and internal partners.
  • Ensure service operational readiness amongst support teams, provide consultation and technical training.
  • Address operational activities and proactively monitor for issues on production systems.
  • Identify process improvements to fix gaps or gain efficiency and drive service automation.
  • Keep abreast of technology trends and developments.

 

Required skills and qualifications:

  • A Bachelor/Master degree in an IT related field or equivalent.
  • Overall 5+ years of experience including 2+ years in service management or operations of IT software products.
  • Deep knowledge of software product operations, experience in implementing and supporting ITIL processes and methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills.
  • Experience of managing multiple partners often with competing demands and deadlines.
  • Proficient with MS tools, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication skills, highly committed, energetic, proficient, reliable.
  • Customer oriented team member driven by results.
  • Experience or working knowledge in one (or more) scripting languages and relational databases is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Agile, SCRUM and software product management is an advantage.
