About the role

If so, then this is a superb role where you can demonstrate and broaden your experience, bring forward your ideas and keep learning. As our IT Service Engineer, you will:
- Analyze and handle L3 incidents, and requests according to the respective processes.
- Act as liaising party between Collateral Management team and our vendor.
- Manage, prioritize business stakeholders, and drive the implementation of smaller change requests and bug fixes.
- Manage minor release upgrades.
- Contribute to the maintenance of our platforms, ensuring the delivery of high-quality focusing on simplicity, performance, maintainability, and automation.
- Support Product Owner during major release upgrades.
About the Team
We are a small, dynamic, and international team of experienced specialists that design, build and operate the Treasury IT landscape in collaboration with our business partners. We follow agile methodologies and apply DevOps practices. We are actively focusing on Microsoft Azure as a cloud solution for our future landscape.
About You
You are a result-driven experienced IT Service Engineer with a university degree in IT, engineering (or similar), comfortable meeting (sometimes tight) deadlines. You have an accomplished record in supporting client solutions, and you desire to develop your skills and knowledge about the platforms you will be working on, both the technical aspects and how they are used by our business partners. You are comfortable working in multi-dimensional agile teams with direct involvement from business SMEs and care about quality, user experience, documentation, testing, team spirit and the big picture.
Your core assets:
- 3-8 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree level or equivalent in computer science or related field
- Good working knowledge of data modelling and SQL
- Good working knowledge on shell scripting
- Experience with DevOps practices including CI/CD
- Strong desire to understand and contribute to the big picture through optimization of the underlying processes
- Enjoy solving challenging problems, both technical and functional
- Systematic thinking
- Confident handling divergent expert opinions and navigating ambiguity in case of conflicting requirements.
- Highly proficient in English (written and verbal)
- Excellent communication skills
- Prior experience in the domains of Trading, Collateral Management, Capital Markets, Treasury is strongly preferred
