About the team

The Operational Resilience COE team is an international team, with members in Zurich, Hyderabad, New York, Madrid, Bratislava and London.  We lead the implementation and evolution of Operational Resilience at Swiss Re and maintain operational effectiveness and meet ongoing commitments through a disruption or crisis. We're looking for a highly motivated professional to help steer and drive this topic.

 

About the role

  • Enable the Group Functions and Business Units in developing and maintaining their Operational Resilience plans.
  • Support the team with Operational Resilience testing and exercises, as well as monitor, track progress and provide status updates on remedial actions.
  • Provide training on operational resilience tool and development of procedural documentation
  • Development and maintenance of the operational resilience program, including the administration of the operational resilience tool
  • Steer Operational Resilience reporting activities.
  • Support Operational Resilience compliance with respect to regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct third-party due diligence assessments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on Operational Resilience topics.

 

 

About You

  • Hands-on experience conducting and managing business impact analysis (BIA) and risk assessments (RA).
  • Understanding of IT DR at both a technical and business level.
  • In-depth knowledge of current industry's best practices relating to operational resilience and/or business resiliency topics.
  • Experience working with and managing relationships with senior leaders in the organization, including facilitating important meetings.
  • Ability to comprehend and write executive reports to summarize various resilience related activities including descriptions of findings, results, analysis, conclusions, and recommendations.   
  • In-depth understanding of various regulatory requirements in business continuity / operational resilience, especially in APAC jurisdictions.
  • Advanced MS 365 suite proficiency, including working knowledge of SharePoint.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize competing deadlines, yet maintaining attention to detail.
  • A collaborative, dedicated team member with a positive approach, actively contributing to the team's goals.

Nice-to-have

  • Working knowledge of data visualization tools like tools like Power BI, Tableau etc.
  • Working knowledge on MS VB (visual basics)
