QA Engineer I
About the Role
As a QA Engineer in our Life and Health Quality Assurance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our systems and applications. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated, performance, and manual tests to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance. This role is ideal for individuals with a keen eye for detail, a passion for quality, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute automated tests using Selenium or Playwright.
- Conduct performance testing using LoadRunner or JMeter to ensure applications meet performance requirements.
- Perform manual testing, including functional tests, regression tests, and UAT test coordination.
- Identify, document, and track bugs and defects using appropriate testing tools and methodologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on the quality and performance of applications.
- Participate in functional specification reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality of code.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in quality assurance and testing.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
- Utilize test management tools like Jira for tracking and managing test activities.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar platforms.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 0-3 years of experience in quality assurance or software testing.
- Experience with automation testing using Selenium or Playwright.
- Experience with performance testing using LoadRunner or JMeter.
- Experience in manual testing, including functional, regression, and UAT test coordination.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Knowledge of test management tools like Jira is required and knowledge on Azure Test Plan is a plus.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar platforms is a plus.
