Quality Assurance Engineer
Job Title: Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer
Location: Hyderabad
Job Summary: We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our team. The QA Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing and validation processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements and specifications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing on various software applications.
- Identify, document, and track defects and issues using appropriate tools and methodologies.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide feedback on potential risks and issues.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing and quality assurance.
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role in software development.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Self-starter with a positive approach, who can manage their own workload.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with performance testing tools.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Nice To Have
- Worked in a Azure DevOps pipelines environment
- SQL Knowledge
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
