About role

To maintain ground-breaking propositions for Magnum and support the next wave of innovations, we are looking for a Security Expert. We are looking for a strategic, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a security expert. Your responsibilities will include assessing potential security threats or breaches and creating contingency plans for when breaches occur.

To be successful as a security expert, you should have excellent attention to detail as well as strong strategic planning skills. Outstanding security expert displays great communication and interpersonal skills, as well as top-notch technical skills.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining security protocols, policies, plans, and systems to cover all possible security threats to meet the client's needs.
  • Testing and analyzing assets for potential security threats.
  • Identifying possible security threats and determining the best security measures.
  • Meeting with clients to discuss security measures, provide information, and explained the designed system.
  • Running risk assessment and security tests and designing countermeasures to eliminate as many potential risks as possible.
  • Compiling and presenting reports on the test results.
  • Suggesting improvements to existing security systems.
  • Remaining up to date with the latest security systems, tools, trends, and technology.
  • Training staff to recognize and defend against security breaches and risks.
  • To implement a company's encryption management tools to effectively keep the information safe.
  • Establishing disaster recovery procedures and conducting security breach drills.
  • Responding quickly and effectively to all security incidents and providing post-event analyses.
  • Monitoring and guiding the security team, cultivating a sense of security awareness, and arranging for continuous education.
  • Remaining up to date with the latest security systems, standards, authentication protocols, and products.

 

Your Qualifications

  • 8-10 years' experience in information security and IT risk management.
  • A strong working knowledge of current IT risks, security implementations, and computer operating and software programs.
  • Excellent technical skills for building security architecture aligned with the business's requirements.
  • Analytical thinking with the ability to discern risks and solutions in multi-layered web systems
  • To be able to build solutions that address the multiple points of risk entry at a rapidly changing pace
  • Strong computer coding and endpoint security skills.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  • Good teamwork and time management skills.
