About the team:

The Cloud Transformation Delivery Team is a newly formed unit in the Public Cloud Transformation department. The team focuses on driving cloud transformation across the business domain ITs through architecture delivery as well as hand-on engineering. The team also acts as a gateway to understand application needs and help establish new shared services and capabilities on the Public Cloud platform.

The Cloud Transformation Delivery's mission is to deliver business value through enabling Swiss Re and the business units to utilize the power and flexibility offered by public Cloud and accelerate the public cloud adoption across Swiss Re.

• Work with SwissRe Business Domains and identify opportunities to support their strategy and improve their processes across functions. 
• Work alongside domain Product Owners and domain Architects in designing the high level solution architecture to transform applications to Public Cloud.

Your main responsibilities:

Solutioning to build a comprehensive Cloud platform, which can satisfy the functional and non-functional requirements.

• Design and deliver Platform Architecture suitable for the SwissRe public cloud Secure landing zone design.
• Design disaster recovery and backup plans based on RTO , RPO and other non-functional requirements.
• Clarify and assist Engineering teams in building the infrastructure as per Platform Architecture.
• Engage with subject matter experts in Security, Governance and Enterprise Architecture teams to contribute and develop cloud technology roadmap and adherence to best practices

About you

The following proven technical skills will be required:

• Experience in Azure landing zone design, platform automation design, devsecops tooling, network topology & connectivity, access management & privileged identity design, platform monitoring, security architecture, high availability architecture design.
• Experience in one or more programming languages: .Net / C#, Java, Python or Ruby
• Understanding of Cloud Platform Services (IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS).
• Experience in DevOps methodology (preferably DevSecOps), both technically and organisationally, including continuous deployment, delivery pipelines and test environments.
• Knowledge of Microservices, Containers - Docker, Kubernetes.
• Ability to handle team and guide them technically.
• Ability to manage the internal stakeholders.
• Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
• Demonstrated ability to recognize and communicate project risks.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and challenges throughout the project development and successfully manage the customer expectations.
• Good stakeholder communication. Ability to work with Product Owner, Product Manager, Development, Testing, and Implementation teams.
• Good exposure and expertise with projects involving Agile Methodology are pivotal.
• At ease working in a transformational and complex environment at a fast-pace and getting things done.
• Proficiency in English is required.

Good to have:

• Knowledge of other cloud platforms like AWS.
• Web application development including using tools like Visual Studio.
• Experience with Network technologies, especially in Azure.
