Senior Technical Business Analyst
About the Role
- Find ways for solving sophisticated business problems through process improvements, application changes, user training or other means.
- This is an individual contributor role, responsible for turning product ideas and business needs into actionable features and user stories. Tasks include writing detailed specifications, use cases, and process flows.
- Lead and facilitate end-to-end business process analysis and improvement initiatives, ensuring alignment with stakeholder goals and operational efficiency.
- Actively participate in and contribute to the Business Analyst Community of Practice (COP), continuing the precedent set by previous role holders and supporting knowledge sharing and standardization
- Work closely with business users to convert business requirements into system-based solutions, focusing on Enterprise Engineering platforms.
- Coach other Business Analysts within the team. Identify training and help them improve their skills.
- Familiarity with Azure and SAAS applications is beneficial but not mandatory
- Create artefacts and templates for others to use.
- Help the Product Owner priorities work items in the product backlog and set sprint goals.
- Collaborate with teams and stakeholders across all geographies and globally.
- Give directions to the squad in collaboration with the Scrum Master, Engineering Lead and Product Owner
- Serve as the deputy for the Product Owner; in the PO's absence, facilitate initiatives and manage stakeholder relationships.
- Define outcome-based metrics and measure the value we build.

About You

- Should have at least 10 years of relevant experience.
- A university degree in computer science, engineering, business administration or an equivalent qualification.
- Must be a logical problem solver, results-oriented, and possess strong project management, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to coach others and influence people.
- Proven experience in a business analyst role.
- Strong analytical skills. Ability to simplify complex contexts.
- Outstanding communication skills and emotional intelligence.
- Take ownership of tasks and drive them forward with minimal guidance. Be proactive in identifying opportunities, solving problems, and helping the team move toward shared goals.
- Real-world experience with Scrum or other agile methodologies.
- Able to write compelling epics, user stories, use cases and create process flow diagrams.
- Certification in ECBA or equant is a plus.
- Knowledge of procurement and finance processes is beneficial but not mandatory.
- You have superb communication skills in English.
