About the Role

As a QA Engineer 2, you'll be at the forefront of quality assurance, implementing advanced automation strategies that enhance our testing capabilities and ensure exceptional product reliability. You'll collaborate with diverse, cross-functional teams to establish quality standards and drive testing excellence throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust test automation frameworks for both UI and API testing

• Develop and maintain comprehensive test suites that ensure thorough coverage across our platforms

• Execute and automate ETL and database testing for data integration processes

• Validate data integrity across systems and ensure accurate data transformation

• Implement test pyramid strategies to optimize test coverage across different testing layers

• Integrate and leverage AI-powered testing tools to enhance test efficiency and effectiveness

• Collaborate with development teams to implement quality engineering practices throughout the SDLC

• Drive accountability for quality across teams and ensure adherence to testing standards

• Identify and resolve complex testing challenges through innovative approaches

• Analyze and report on quality metrics to provide actionable insights for continuous improvement

• Lead test planning, execution, and reporting activities for major releases

• Mentor junior QA team members and promote best practices in testing methodologies

About You

You're a detail-oriented quality advocate with a passion for automation and a track record of implementing effective testing strategies. You thrive in collaborative environments where you can apply your technical expertise to solve complex problems. Your analytical mindset allows you to anticipate potential issues before they arise, and your communication skills enable you to effectively articulate quality concerns and solutions.

We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance

• Strong expertise in writing automation scripts in Selenium and Playwright using .NET/Java

• Proven experience in API testing with tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar frameworks

• Experience with database testing and SQL for data validation and integrity checks

• Experience designing and implementing scalable test automation frameworks

• Knowledge of test pyramid principles and experience implementing effective testing strategies

• Proficiency in Java, .NET, or Python for test automation development

These are additional nice to haves:

• Experience with ETL testing tools and methodologies

• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and testing approaches

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)

• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Familiarity with AI-powered testing tools and approaches

• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and testing practices

• ISTQB or similar quality assurance certifications

• Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems

 

Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office at least three days per week
