We are looking for an Local Events & Admin to support our P&C Re team in South Africa. About the Team
Become a part of our P&C Re South Africa Team! Our team is part of P&C Re, Swiss Re's largest Business Unit, responsible for all Property & Casualty (Non-Life) Reinsurance business worldwide.
About the Role
In this role you will be the go-to person and work closely with various stakeholders within the P&C Re South Africa team as well as the wider P&C Re community.
Your main responsibilities:
- Provide professional and proactive administrative support. Plan, manage, and coordinate your stakeholders' inboxes and calendars as well as coordinate internal and external meetings.
- Plan, coordinate and manage events, such as workshops, offsites and townhalls. Moreover, organize international business travel.
- Help to prepare agendas and presentations for management team and other meetings, take notes if required and follow up on action items.
- Ensure all purchase orders, invoices and expenses are managed in a timely and accurate manner.
About You
Our ideal new colleague should be an experienced Local Events & Admin, dedicated to consistently delivering high-quality work. They should be reliable, accountable, and committed to excellence in every task they undertake.
Essentials:
- Excellent organizational, time management and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize requests calmly and efficiently, paired with attention to detail, demonstrated calendar management skills and ability to coordinate executive meetings and travel arrangements.
- Experience in supporting management at the executive level.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools (Outlook, MS Teams, Excel, Word & PowerPoint).

- Flexible personality with a high self-motivation who adapts fast to various situations and responds quickly to challenges.
- Able to anticipate possible risks/issues, maintains a solution approach.
- Able to work independently with little or no supervision, while being a teammate and collaborative.
