Claims Analyst

We are seeking an individual with the deside to work with a dedicated Operations Claims Team. This is a key role that requires attention to detail, work at speed and accuracy. Priorities focus on high volumes of documentation, comprehension, assigning and setting up claims. Ability to manage multiple priorities and excellent time management.   

 

About the Role:

  • Accountable for meeting KPIs and preparing action plans when KPIs are not met. 
  • High level of interaction and coordination with team members, team leads, internal and external customers.
  • Participate in succession development plan, progressing to lead a team.
  • Position handles moderate to complex assignments, new business design, sits on client service team meetings, and other claims related projects.   
  • Works productively in the face of obstacles and uncertainty.
  • Proven ability to do root cause analysis and associated troubleshooting.
  • Innovative thinker who generates logical ideas, solutions to problems and acts to correct them.
  • Position will require involvement in work allocation, knowledge sharing, and issue resolution.

About You:

  • Desire/Experience in managing people
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience required
  • College degree or equivalent experience is preferred
  • Consistently self-directed and generates innovative ideas and solutions to problems
  • Maintains a consistent high level of productivity
  • Develop others by sharing own professional knowledge and experience
  • Demonstrate analytical skills in order to determine and communicate recommendations to internal customers
  • Demonstrate willingness to seek new knowledge keeping up-to-date technically and applies knowledge to processing tasks through daily activities and responsibilities
  • Demonstrate general working knowledge of given work routines, standards, and operational systems for the business unit supported

 

The position will be located in our Kansas City, MO office. Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office or visiting clients two to three days per week on average. 

 

This role will be unable to offer any assistance with relocation or visa sponsorship.
