Fac Underwriting Coordinator

 

This Business Coordinator position is a wonderful opportunity to provide technical assistance to the Property FAC Transactions, supporting both direct and broker markets. In it, you will be utilizing various software applications, records management solutions, workstream processes, as well as coordinating with client markets and other functional roles within the company.

 

About the Role:

In this role you will be jointly responsible for the day-to-day operations with the Property FAC Transactions team. Main responsibilities may include:

 

  • Risk clearing, binding transactions, bordereaux management, issuing certificates and endorsements, ensuring strong data quality.
  • External communication with clients (emails, phone calls, video presence, and in person).
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams within the region and global peers to manage and resolve client queries, leveraging time zones and your knowledge of specific solutions.
  • Conduct business analysis based on data available in internal and external reporting tools, dashboards, or relevant KPIs to understand the client experience.
  • Identify, recommend, and track efficiency opportunities based on the data analyzed.

 

Along with other position related tasks as instructed by supervisor

 

The position will be located in our Kansas City, MO office. Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office three days per week on average.

About You:

  • Minimum of two-year associate degree; or equivalent experience.
  • (Re)insurance knowledge desired
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage tasks independently.
  • Adaptable to changes in tasks and priorities, maintaining efficiency and productivity.
  • Proactive in seeking new knowledge and tasks, questioning current processes, and suggesting improvements.
