Finance Reporting Specialist, US Carrier Management (Hybrid Work Model)

 About the Role

 

This position is responsible for financial reporting and analysis of assigned legal entities in the U.S.  In this role you will provide valuable insights to other finance and business functions through delivery of expert and timely information.

  

Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Compile high-quality financial information on a US Statutory basis
  • Execute legal entity performance analysis, while identifying process enhancements through automation and collaboration with global teams
  • Ensure strong execution and adherence to the financial reporting control environment
  • Actively engage with all relevant partners, internally and externally

The Group Carrier Management Team is constantly developing and strengthening our capabilities to provide insightful and meaningful reporting to our decision makers.  You will join a highly motivated and dynamic team within an interesting and complex environment and will get the opportunity to build up and further enhance reporting, consolidation & analytical capabilities.

 

About You

Essential skills and experience:

 

  • With 5+ years of experience in the life insurance industry or audit experience
  • CPA certification or equivalent preferred
  • Working knowledge of U.S. Statutory accounting and reporting standards for life insurance companies.
  • Able to lead effectively across reporting lines to ensure deliverables are successfully executed
  • Ability to balance competing priorities while anticipating and preempting operational challenges
