About the Role

This is a rare opportunity to join our unit within an established company, combining the dynamic spirit of the team with the backing of Swiss Re's strong organization. This position is responsible for receiving, logging, tracking and organizing department work. You are responsible for customer service, and establishing financial risk associated with Stop Loss claims. This requires outstanding organizational and computer skills, as well as the ability to work independently and problem solve. You are responsible for receiving, logging and tracking incoming mail in a variety of formats. You will identify key elements and enter the mail into the business application and communicate with internal and external stakeholders. You are responsible for following established department protocols as well as looking for opportunities for improvement of processes. 

About You
Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred or equivalent experience is desired but not required.

  • Knowledge of common medical terminology, diseases and their related risks
  • A basic knowledge of Stop Loss Industry will be valuable
  • Ability to work in an energizing environment; flexibility to handle multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of professionalism
  • Overall knowledge of healthcare industry
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to pay attention to details
  • Excellent Excel and Word Skills.


About the Team
We are responsible for the review, adjudication and maintenance of claim files to include, reporting and monitoring the related action items. We perform deep analysis of industry trends that impact claim exposure. We collaborate with and provide our risk management partners with appropriate information.
