Operations Officer/Specialist

About the team 

The Group Enterprise Architecture (EA) & Tech Corporate Solutions (CorSo) team drives IT architecture standards for applications, data, and technology as well as defining Group target architectures to ensure synergies across business units. The Tech CorSo Team leads and develops technology solutions for the Corporate Solutions business. 

You will specifically join the Group EA & Tech CorSo Office, a central team in the Division. We are responsible for the strategic oversight of the division, financials, overarching communication strategy and execution as well as the direct leadership support.

About the Role  

We are looking for an Operations Manager to join our Group EA & Tech CorSo Office team. In your role, you will work hand-in-hand with the Divisional Operating Officer (DOO) and provide a broad set of operational and administrative support to the Head of Group Enterprise Architecture & Tech CorSo as well as the division's leadership team. Being the central point-of-contact, you ensure that various processes across the division are driven efficiently and effectively. Depending on your interest, you can gradually assume more responsibilities and help shaping the role.  

 

Your Main Responsibilities:  

  • Be a trusted partner and go-to person for the leadership team and the whole division 

  • Lead and complete the overarching communication strategy for the division (including online platforms such as SharePoint, Viva Engage and Teams) 

  • Support the conceptualization events for the division and individual departments (leadership workshops, townhalls, social events, etc.)  

  • Be involved in strategic financial review and the definition of strategic directions for the division 

  • Monitor and track the actuals and development of FTE data 

  • Orchestrating and assisting with the preparation of senior management communications, presentations and strategic documents and ensuring timely delivery of submission for various bodies 

  • Lead and/or support ad-hoc assignments, projects and initiatives as needed 

 

About you  

  • You are a professional with experience in operations management, project management, consulting, or other similar areas (work experience of 3 or more years) 

  • You are a strong communicator, have excellent interpersonal skills and feel confident directly working with our leadership team 

  • You are detail oriented with the ability to prioritise multiple requests and deadlines. 

  • You are a teammate and self-starter who thinks ahead, is result oriented and thrives in a dynamic and professional global environment  

  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English 

  • You are curious and keen to learn and new ideas excite you 

  • You are proactive, prioritise multiple requests easily and drive your own topics 

  • You are proficient in MS Office (Office 365) products such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint as well as communication tools like Teams, SharePoint and Viva Engage
