Senior Reporting Professional, Insurance-Linked Investment

About the Role
As a Senior Reporting Professional, you'll be at the intersection of fund accounting, valuation, daily operations and financial reporting, playing a vital role in maintaining the accuracy and reliability of our investment products' financial information.
In this role you will support the SRILAIC CFO to manage all valuation issues and participate in reporting to the Valuation Committee.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Support the SRILIAC CFO in reviewing Net Asset Value calculations produced by fund administrators, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Collaborate closely with SRILIAC operations teams to ensure correct accounting for advised funds
- Utilize operational and industry systems to effectively source and verify critical fund information
- Provide comprehensive support during internal/external audits, regulatory reviews, and control testing, including preparation of materials and coordination with stakeholders
- Drive team initiatives and projects efficiently in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Foster cross-functional work with Asset Management, Tax, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Treasury, Group Finance and others to deliver reporting that meets the needs of all stakeholders
This role does not provide investment advice or recommendations to clients or third parties, nor valuation opinions or risk assessments to external stakeholders. This role does not include discretionary investment or trading authority. And this role does not involve direct investor interaction unless an operational question arises to which you are tasked with responding.
About the Team
You'll be joining a highly skilled and engaged organization based across multiple Swiss Re locations. Our team brings specialized expertise to strategic projects focused on continuous improvements in future target operating models and the integration of changes in accounting standards and reporting requirements. We actively collaborate with key partners in reporting & controlling teams, technical carrier teams, A&R Production, Group Tax, and Finance IT to maintain multi-valuation oversight over significant transactions and projects.

We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:
- Experience in fund accounting and Net Asset Valuation, including a strong understanding of bonds and derivatives
- Familiarity with data analytics tools and relational database management (e.g., Python, Power BI, SQL)
- Strong analytical skills with proven ability to assess complex financial issues
- Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Demonstrated ability to operate under tight deadlines in a rapidly developing business environment
- Excellent communication skills to effectively deliver reporting analysis to key stakeholders

- Experience working in a regulated financial services environment
- Knowledge of investment operations and fund structures
- Professional qualifications in accounting or finance
Our company uses a hybrid work model requiring at least three days in the office each week, with the option to work onsite full-time if preferred. This position is not eligible for full-time telework.
The estimated base salary range for this position is $84,000 to $126,000. The specific salary offered for this or any given role will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to job location, scope of role, qualifications, complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent, experience, education, and employer budget. At Swiss Re, we take a "total compensation approach" when making compensation decisions. This means that we consider all components of compensation in their totality (such as base pay, short-and long-term incentives, and benefits offered), in setting individual compensation.
