About the Team
The L&H Operational Resilience & Governance team is made up of governance and operational experts who safeguard and enable the business to manage risks and ensure operational resilience. It is an integrated unit within the L&H BU Re that aligns governance, regulatory compliance, risk management, and internal control efforts to create a comprehensive and cohesive approach to managing operational, legal, and compliance risks.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide support and guidance to branches on topics such as Outsourcing, Business Continuity Management, Operational Resilience, and/or Third-Party Risk Management.
- Identify, develop, and promote best practices and standardized processes across all branches. Ensure consistency and quality in the implementation of processes and practices.
- Partnering with Branch Operations Managers, collaborate with the relevant functions to deliver the Branch governance framework, ensuring appropriate quality and output through a coordinated approach.
- Assist in ensuring a coordinated approach to all Business Reviews (Business Unit Planning, Outsourcing Review, etc.) across supported jurisdictions.
- Provide operational support to branches, addressing challenges and optimizing performance. Assist branches in implementing new initiatives, technologies, and processes. Serve as a point of contact for branch operations managers seeking expertise and support on topics supported.
About You
- ~5 years of experience working in consulting, insurance-related branch governance, or other relevant roles.
- Relevant knowledge and experience in Branch Governance, Operations, Business Continuity Management, Operational Resilience, and/or Third-Party Risk Management.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, able to work effectively across functions.
- Proficient in storytelling as well as slide writing and presentation compilation via PowerPoint and/or PowerBI.
- Work experience in operations excellence or business transformation execution, e.g., project and change management. Hands-on experience in branch governance or governance reporting for senior management is a plus.
