Global Insurance Network Manager
About the Role
As Global Insurance Network Manager, you will help shape and sustain Swiss Re Corporate Solutions’ partner ecosystem supporting International Programs across markets where Corporate Solutions does not maintain a local insurance presence or license. The role combines strategic partner development, disciplined governance and service oversight to ensure clients receive consistent, compliant and high-quality execution through a strong network of local insurance carrier partners. This position is a key enabler of our international business model and of our ambition to deliver a distinctive client experience globally.
The role has the following key responsibilities:
- Shape, develop and maintain a strong global network of partner insurers that can support International Programs in markets where Corporate Solutions does not operate through an owned entity or local license.
- Own and deepen senior relationships with network partners, fostering long-term collaboration, mutual accountability and a clear focus on client outcomes, especially when acting as escalation point for the global IP colleague community.
- Identify, assess and onboard new partners where required, including due diligence, commercial evaluation, contractual implementation and readiness for operational delivery.
- Steer service performance across the partner network through clear standards, performance monitoring, issue resolution and continuous improvement measures.
- Anticipate strategic, operational and market developments affecting network partners, and define mitigation or contingency actions to protect continuity, resilience and service quality.
- Maintain a strong view of local market requirements, including insurance, regulatory, and tax considerations, and ensure relevant insights are reflected in internal guidance, decision-making and network data.
- Ensure partner interactions and network processes are executed in line with Swiss Re standards, governance expectations, compliance requirements and applicable local regulations.
- Partner closely with underwriting, operations, legal, compliance, finance, claims as well as third parties (e.g. brokers, as appropriate) and other relevant functions to resolve complex issues and support effective delivery of International Programs. Support sales efforts and advertise Swiss Re Corporate Solutions' network capabilities to potential brokers and clients.
- Contribute to the evolution of the International Programs value proposition by supporting new partner capabilities, product roll-outs and targeted capability-building initiatives for both partners and internal stakeholders.
