About the Team
Join a growing, dynamic and diverse team within the established Swiss Re Group. We are a scale-up, established to deliver innovative protection solutions sold direct to consumers through Distribution Partners. Our team takes care of all compliance matters relating to iptiQ. This includes maintaining effective systems for the identification, management and control of compliance risks, evaluating proposed business transactions and implementing effective governance processes for our legal entities.

About the Role
As a Compliance Officer, you will have an outstanding opportunity to be a trusted, strategic partner to the iptiQ team by providing timely, practical, and high-quality compliance advice across the entire insurance value chain. Reporting directly to the Head of Compliance iptiQ EMEA, the role will include responsibilities across all our iptiQ markets:

Identify and monitor compliance and conduct risk drivers in order to undertake ongoing risk assessments

Develop and ensure appropriate implementation of a robust Compliance Programme taking business model specific requirements into account, including maintenance of Compliance Risk frameworks in coordination with the Group Compliance team and carrying out compliance training activities

Monitor regulatory developments at national and EU level and assessment of published regulatory changes

Provide advice on new distribution and outsourcing partnerships, products and business as usual operations

Support Division Legal and Compliance key initiatives and advancing specific priorities relevant to the iptiQ EMEA business

Support the internal governance processes to ensure that compliance risks are appropriately flagged and escalated

Provide relevant reporting to regulatory/competent authorities as appropriate

Review customer product documentation and other related promotional material

Design and carry out training on compliance risks;

Provide reports to senior management, the iptiQ Board of Directors, Group and regulatory/competent authorities as appropriate;
About You
We are looking for an experienced professional with the ability to prioritize and work in a highly dynamic and changing matrix environment. You should also be able to lead change in an international business environment and communicate in a multi-jurisdictional set-up.
Skills and Experience:

Compliance professional with minimum 3 years' experience in the primary life insurance market in the UK and Ireland, experience in non-life and other EMEA jurisdictions (especially Italy) a plus

Previous experience of managing regulatory issues in respect of conduct risk, data protection and anti-money laundering highly preferred

Fluent in English, other European languages a plus
