Overall L&H Reinsurance business value chain is heavily supported by key actuarial functions starting with new business costing to valuation as well as portfolio performance monitoring and optimization for traditional L&H products and Financial Markets solutions. Actuarial platform transformation to public cloud while reviewing technical architecture and proposing optionality for 'Future Ready Optimized design' (application and database layer)

Optimization of high-performance modeling capabilities including consolidation and future readiness

Effective organization of Actuarial data (input and results) for the efficient analysis and insights generation.

E2e Integration of actuarial systems with rest of the L&H, Finance and Risk landscape with appropriate architecture types.

Oversight of dev-ops and architecture governance align with evolving guidelines
The responsibility of the Product Area technical personnel, including coordination with vendors is also part of the role. We have also colleagues outside of the department that would need your time and dedication. Your team would consist of Architects, Application Engineers, DevSecOps Engineers. The team members would be combination of internals and externals.
The team has a consistent record of successful delivery and has a pipeline of tasks for the next few years with a focus on cloud transformation, which is a critical part of digital transformation

Demonstrable experience as a technology leader, having led projects spanning multiple teams or headed an IT division or organization

Solid experience in Architecture and Engineering of Cloud based applications with modern tech stack

Feel comfortable to work in a transformational and complex environment and can get things done in a fast-paced surrounding

Over five years of experience in leading cross-functional teams and enterprise-wide programs, operating and influencing effectively across the organization and within complex contexts

Substantial Technology background with experience in the transformation of IT landscapes including cloud-native solutions development, operations and knowledge of state-of-the-art technology

Sound experience in creating applications with global regulations and data protection guideline requirements

Experience in applying technology to seek business challenges and realize vision & strategy

Combined agile practices with leadership and management skills across cultures, geographies and organizational levels
