L&H Senior Consultant (80 - 100 working degree)
Are you passionate about translating strategy into measurable business impact? Join us at the heart of Swiss Re’s Life & Health (L&H) Reinsurance transformation journey, where you will collaborate with senior leaders and market units to shape the future of the L&H business globally.
About the Role
As a Senior Consultant in Business Transformation (L&H), you will play a key role in driving and delivering high-impact transformation initiatives across the L&H value chain. You will lead initiatives end-to-end — from strategic framing through execution and benefits realisation — spanning operating models, governance, processes, technology, and ways of working.
You will act as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders, helping turn strategic ambition into tangible change that delivers sustainable business outcomes — not just presentations, but results embedded in the organisation.
Current focus – Strategy execution and AI-enabled transformation
A key part of our L&H transformation agenda is ensuring disciplined execution of strategic priorities across global and market-unit levels, while driving improvements across the L&H value chain through responsible, business-led use of digital and AI capabilities.
In this role, you will:
-
Strategic translation: Break down complex business challenges into clear problem statements and actionable solution approaches
-
Initiative leadership: Transform strategic intent into well-defined initiatives with measurable outcomes and robust governance. Drive delivery, owning financial stewardship, milestone planning and stakeholder alignment
-
Challenge the status quo: Be ready to drive innovative solutions and seek alternative approaches to achieve the best outcome for SwissRe L&H
-
Delivery alignment: Partner with L&H Business leaders, including L&H AI Program Lead and Head L&H AI Operating model Transformation to ensure alignment, timely decisions and successful delivery of AI- and digitally-enabled initiatives that move beyond experimentation and embed new capabilities into underwriting, claims, in-force management and operations
-
Execution excellence: Strengthen project, programme and portfolio management standards across L&H; ensure strategic initiatives are governed, prioritised and executed with clear accountability and measurable impact
-
Cross-functional collaboration: Act as a connector between business, market units, governance forums, and Data & Tech teams to ensure alignment and sustained adoption
About the Team
The L&H Business Transformation & Initiatives team, part of L&H Business Advisory, drives change and sustainable performance across the L&H business unit. We are a globally distributed, experienced team working across the entire L&H value chain, combining strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.
About You
You thrive in complex, international environments and combine strategic thinking with pragmatic execution. You are comfortable navigating ambiguity and influencing stakeholders at all levels. With strong ownership and a structured mindset, you translate ideas into concrete outcomes and measurable impact. You act as a bridge-builder — between strategy and execution, global and local, business and technology.
