Underwriter Casualty (80-100%)

About the Role

We are looking for a Casualty Underwriter to join the UK Casualty team within our London branch of Corporate Solutions (CorSo).

This is an underwriting position for someone looking to work in a fast growing and evolving portfolio whilst also having the benefit of being able to learn from our existing team of Senior Underwriters. The core focus is on contributing to the result-oriented underwriting of Casualty transactions as a progressive primary and excess insurer with multinational and local policy capabilities.

Your main tasks will be analyzing the technical insurability in respect of exposures and coverages, reviewing cover structures, wordings and proposals and preparing quotations. You will ideally have an existing network of broker contacts and be comfortable in attending external broker and client meetings to present CorSo's capabilities. You will also have opportunity to support and learn from an established team. Your knowledge of the market will allow you to attract new opportunities and select the risks carefully and efficiently. Furthermore, you will contribute to CorSo projects, work in international deal teams and accept special assignments as required.

• 3 plus years of primary Casualty experience in General Liability and Employer's Liability

• Experience in UK Casualty

• Organizational and time management skills

• Strong IT skills

• Willingness to travel, particularly in UK Regions for broker meetings #LI-Hybrid
