HR People Partner - Luxembourg (m/f/x/d - 60-80%)

About The Role
As a People Partner at Swiss Re, you provide guidance on and drive the execution of core people solutions along the employee life cycle. As part of an international HR team, you work closely with Global HR Partners, colleagues in the HR Operations and Administration teams - as well as experts from the Centers of Excellence (Reward, Talent & Culture and HR Operational Excellence).
In this role you will have a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the success of our business, through delivering end to end HR solutions for Swiss Re's leaders and team members of various global functions and business units in Luxembourg.
Key Responsibilities

Partner with business stakeholders and advise function leaders and line managers on people matters and labor relations topics.

Provide advice and coaching on employee life cycle from talent acquisition to onboarding, retention, talent development and offboarding.

Deploy initiatives to enhance employee engagement, cultural change, capability development and retention, to address talent challenges and foster our culture of care, growth and wellbeing.

Enable and challenge the business on performance and talent management, annual compensation review process, and re-organizations.

Represent and build Swiss Re's employer brand in the (local) labour market.

Manage employee relations per local laws, work with staff representatives, and facilitate collective dialogue.

Ensure that people practices comply with relevant legislation, policies, and regulations (such as working time and cross-border requirements), meet local reporting obligations, and coordinate with internal payroll, the CCSS, and tax authorities for accurate implementation.

Collaborate with HR peers and experts across other countries on programs and interventions.

We Look For You To Have

10+ years relevant HR experience in similar roles

Sound working knowledge of core HR processes and the applicable labour and employment legislation in Luxembourg, as well as hands-on experience in managing employee and labour relations.

Experience in working in international (matrix) organizations and with senior management.

Demonstrable track record of managing organizational change and reorganizations.

Ability to build strong relationships at all levels in the organization and coach people leaders.

Hands-on and can-do approach – with critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and the ability to handle challenging situations.

Analytical mindset, confidence working with data, technology and key people metrics.

Interest to gain (external) insights HR trends and stretch yourself beyond the status quo.

Strong oral and written communication skills in French and English; Luxembourgish and/or German a plus.
For Luxembourg, the base salary range for this position is between 83,000 EUR and EUR 138,000 for a full-time role.
The specific salary offered considers:
• the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
• the applicant's own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience. In the situation where you do not meet all the requirements or you significantly exceed these, the offered salary may be below or above the advertised range.
• In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based annual bonus.
