About the Role
In this role, you will:
• Oversee corporate legal and regulatory matters for Luxembourg companies and their global branches and subsidiaries.
• Act as a trusted advisor, offering clear legal and regulatory guidance.
• Monitor legal developments and advise on implications for Swiss Re.
• Attend legal entity meetings, prepare and deliver presentations and legal reports to management.
• Engage in corporate restructuring projects.
• Develop governance templates and manage outside counsel.
About the Team
The Corporate Governance & Operations Legal team and the wider Legal & Compliance Division supports across business units, companies and jurisdictions. About You
• You are a Luxembourg-qualified lawyer with at least 3 years of practical experience in a law firm or international organisation.
• You are experienced in advising on Luxembourg corporate law and regulations applicable to CSSF and/or CAA supervised companies.
• You are fluent in English and French; additional European languages are a plus.
• You demonstrate accountability, resilience, and enthusiasm.
• You enjoy collaboration and are capable of driving matters independently.
Additional Information
• Please note that a valid work permit for Luxembourg is required for this position.
For Luxembourg, the base salary range for this position is between 94,000 EUR and EUR 156,000 for a full-time role.
The specific salary offered considers:
• the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
• the applicant's own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience. In the situation where you do not meet all the requirements or you significantly exceed these, the offered salary may be below or above the advertised range.
• In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based annual bonus.
