Senior Regulatory Risk Manager (Hybrid, m/f/x/d)
We are offering a great opportunity in the EMEA Regulatory Risk Management team, with a specific focus on prudential and recovery & resolution developments. The ideal candidate would have 5-10y of regulatory-related experience and proven knowledge of re/insurance solvency and recovery & resolution topics. They would be primarily responsible for prudential-related developments in EMEA (e.g. Solvency II, IRRD), while also supporting technical and strategic advice on prudential developments in the APAC region.
About the role
The role focuses on prudential regulatory developments, and responsibilities include the proactive identification and assessment of regulatory risks. You will work closely with various internal functions to develop Swiss Re's policy positions for use in external engagement and input to public consultations. You will also support Swiss Re's senior management in discussions with regulators, trade associations and clients.
Core responsibilities:
• Develop a clear understanding of and expertise on prudential regulatory risks of relevance for Swiss Re's EMEA legal entities and business. In addition, support with technical and strategic advice on prudential regulatory developments in APAC.
• Engage with relevant internal stakeholders in view of identifying regulatory risks, assessing potential impacts and mitigating actions.
• Engage on behalf of Swiss Re in industry trade associations.
• Engage on behalf of Swiss Re with relevant regulatory authorities.
• Support Swiss Re's senior management in their regulatory engagements.

About You

Essentials
• A university degree or equivalent in Economics, Actuarial science, Finance or Law.
• 5-10 years of professional-level work experience dealing with insurance regulatory topics.
• A good understanding of the European re/insurance risk landscape. Knowledge of and/or experience with prudential topics is necessary.
• Ability to assimilate and summarize complex issues into concise memos/ presentations.
• Strong interpersonal skills and experience in dealing with internal and external stakeholders, including regulators.
• Excellent communication skills, orally and in writing in English, knowledge of other languages would be an asset.
For Luxembourg, the base salary range for this position is between 91,000 EUR and EUR 151,000 for a full-time role.

• the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
• the applicant's own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience. In the situation where you do not meet all the requirements or you significantly exceed these, the offered salary may be below or above the advertised range.
• In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based annual bonus.
