Bond & Guarantee Specialist for Italian market (m/f/x/d, 80 - 100% Hybrid)

About the Role


You have experience in guarantees and bonds issuance, good interpersonal skills and enjoy
direct client contact. Have you been working internationally? This might be your next challenge:

 

You will be responsible for domestic and international client servicing, especially timely and
accurate request and inquiry handling, issuance of bonds and guarantees and with the
following key responsibilities:


• High level of interaction and coordination with our team members, underwriters locally
and in other markets as well as external clients, brokers and other external partners
such as banks and insurers
• Capture bonds and guarantees in systems and tools, including checking and issuing
such documents and processing any amendments. If applicable, prepare documents for
issuance and seek for customers approval
• Analyze and work with detailed source documents such as issuance requests, facility
agreements, guarantee wordings
• Manages internal stakeholders by adhering to agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
and manages customer requirements.
• Contribute to processes for the mitigation of Operational and Regulatory risks
• Analyze and identify any premium and fee discrepancies decide on appropriate next
• Compile, sort, review and verify data accuracy using source documents, detect errors,
and initiate correction while following-up with customer or process owner regarding any
inconsistencies found
• Work together with internal and external stakeholders and handle document processing
for teams supported, as appropriate
• Perform assigned rule-based tasks following standard operating procedures
• Follow established performance standards and metrics

About you


Education:
• Degree in banking, finance, or a related field
• Associate degree or job experience equivalent


License/certifications
n/a


Relevant professional experience
• Experience with bonds, guarantees analysis and issuance
• Basic knowledge and understanding of trade finance and guarantee business
• Basic knowledge on sanctions and AML procedures, commercial and company law


Linguistics
• The ideal candidate is fully proficient in the Italian and English language, reading,
written and verbal
• Additional languages of relevant markets (especially German, French) would be an
advantage


Technical Competencies
• Demonstrates good skills and experience with Microsoft Office. Basic Internet
knowledge a must. SWIFT messages for documentary business is a plus
• Demonstrates competency in administrative and clerical procedures including handling files and records, and processes for providing excellent customer service
• Ability to work both independently or collaboratively while establishing priorities; ability to handle several tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain effective
working relations with people in a multi-cultural environment
• Excellent reading comprehension, verbal and written interpersonal skills
• Ability to identify and report problems or errors while working with detailed information
• Demonstrates ability to follow process steps, and adapt in different situations as well as decide on steps to get to desired result
• Applies knowledge to technical and processing tasks through daily activities and


Responsibilities

Occasional travel may be required to attend meetings, seminars, and programs to learn
about new processes and guidelines, learn new skills, and stay updated with the team
supported.
