Data Analyst (Hybrid option)

Join a team of cybersecurity professionals and help Swiss Re to fulfil its mission in making the world more resilient. As the Data Analyst, you'll own the analysis of business processes, ensuring they are continually optimised and implemented into innovative solutions. You will be a trusted advisor, delivering critical insights at pace, helping the organisation make fast, risk-based decisions. What's more, you'll be working in a hybrid setup, perfectly balancing work from home and the office premises. 

 

About the team 

The Security Team is the focal point for all security activities across Swiss Re. We are responsible for cybersecurity engineering and operations, governance, risk and compliance. We define and advance the company's security strategy. We are looking for a self-starter who is happy to challenge the status quo of existing processes – with a clear focus on efficiency, speed and delivering solutions that support the company.  

 

In your role, you will… 

  • Lead requirements, analysis, ensuring business needs are understood and transformed into actionable, high-quality solutions.  
  • Deliver comprehensive insights and reporting solutions for customers 
  • Drive data collection and transformation to uncover actionable insights, assess risks and highlight security trends 
  • Provide rapid and reliable data-driven support for time-sensitive decision-making 
  • Ensure processes and reporting frameworks are continuously optimised and scalable  
  • Create and maintain high-quality documentation  

 

Your qualifications

What we need from you 

  • Data literacy, data modelling, scripting languages, or Business Intelligence tools 
  • Experience with analysis and data modelling in complex corporate environments  
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities, and deliver results quickly without compromising quality 
  • The ability to communicate and influence with a broad spectrum of stakeholders effectively – from internal customers to software vendors 
  • Strong communication, influencing, and collaboration skills  
  • Excellent oral and written skills in English 
  • Passion, drive, and a belief in the value of performing business analysis as an enabler of business performance 

 

Nice-to-have 

  • Experience with PowerBI (data modelling, DAX, dashboards etc) 
  • A degree in Computer Science or comparable field 
  • Experience with data engineering 
  • Experience of working in an Agile organization 
  • Experience with Palantir 

 

For Spain, the base salary range for this position is between [EUR 42,000] and [EUR 70,000] (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers: ​

  • the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,​
  • the applicant's own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.​

In addition to your base salary, Swiss Re offers an attractive performance-based variable compensation component, designed to recognise your achievements. Further you will enjoy a variety of global and location specific benefits.​
