Digital Risk Advisor (Hybrid setup)

Join a team of digital risk governance and security professionals, helping Swiss Re to fulfil its mission in making the world more resilient. As the Digital Risk Advisor, you'll drive the digital risk governance process by engaging with our customers and advisors – primarily, in IT and business domains. You will own the change control to the framework-handling process review quality, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and building an efficient risk management process, while actively raising severe risks to senior management.

What's more, you'll be working in a hybrid setup, perfectly balancing work from home and the office premises.

About the team

We are responsible for cybersecurity engineering and operations, corporate security, governance, operational resilience, risk and compliance. We define and advance the company's security and digital risk governance & control strategy. As a part of the Digital Risk Governance & Control team, the Change Control and Advisory team is responsible for effective digital change control and risk advisory via the internal Digital Governance Framework (DGF). We provide first-hand regulatory guidance and run Swiss Re's digital governance, enabling risk mitigation for sustainable tech and data-driven solutions.

In your role, you will…

  • Plan, handle, and implement medium to large-sized process improvement initiatives for a risk assessment framework
  • Focus on delivering smooth and valuable experience to our customers – minimising frictions during the onboarding of digital services and explaining technical information clearly to diverse audiences
  • Drive end-to-end changes to the framework by working with respective domain partners and risk advisors
  • Drive advisors' SLAs and quality-oriented topics
  • Collect continuous feedback across every customer touchpoint and seek to find creative solutions to improve the teams' overall efficiency
  • Organise and facilitate meetings, and communicate the results across multiple collaborators, auditors, and global leadership teams

Your qualifications

Nobody is perfect and meets 100% of our requirements. If you, however, meet some of the criteria below and are curious about the world of digital governance inside a well-set-up international team, we'll be more than happy to meet you!

  • 5+ years of work experience, with at least 1–2 years of experience in leading IT system assessments, process management, and risk management
  • Demonstrable experience in leading IT processes/projects – including planning, prioritising and administrating work
  • A good understanding of technical solution designs, technology architectures, on-the-rise technologies, and cloud environments, such as AWS, Azure, etc.
  • Ability to break down complex technical topics and communicate them in a relatable and clear way
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, accustomed to working on parallel tasks and projects with a geographically dispersed team
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English
  • A Bachelor degree in a relevant area – i.e., Comp Science or any related IT field
