About the Role
Are you ready to take your career to the next level? Join our dynamic Global Engineering support underwriting team and be part of a thrilling journey! We are looking for results-oriented professional to support EMEA underwriters in their daily tasks. Your role will involve a variety of exciting functions, including:
- Underwriting Support: Dive into the world of engineering risk in EMEA, handling systems filling, submission checks, initial costing, and contractual analysis.
- First Analysis: Take charge of providing the first analysis of submissions to underwriters.
- Portfolio Analysis: Support EMEA in portfolio analysis and other assignments, focusing on processes and systems.
- Administrative Excellence: Ensure administrative tasks within EMEA are completed to Swiss Re standards.
- Fast Service: Provide competent and swift service to our underwriters.
- Project Contributions: Contribute to various project work and accept special assignments.
- Future Support: Depending on your development, support TTY renewal across the same region in the future.
About the Team
Join our vibrant Madrid team, currently formed by four underwriters, and play a crucial role in maintaining the current book of business in EMEA. Your work will primarily involve supporting underwriters in other offices, particularly Zurich.
About You
We are looking for someone with:
- A professional diploma in administration or a similar profile.
- Two to five years of experience in similar administrative or pre-underwriting tasks, especially in an international company.
- Excellent oral and written English skills; other languages used in our region would be a plus. The work will be done fully in English.
- Insurance experience is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to focus on details without losing sight of the bigger picture.
- Excellent organizational skills, able to define priorities and committed to achieving high-quality results on time.
- A goal-oriented mindset and a team player attitude.
For Spain, the base salary range for this position is between EUR 47,000 and EUR 78,000 (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:
- the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
- the applicant's own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.
In addition to your base salary, Swiss Re offers an attractive performance-based variable compensation component, designed to recognise your achievements. Further you will enjoy a variety of global and location specific benefits.
